Write On, Me!

Little bit of background information on me: I'm a struggling writer. Struggling because 1) I have writer's block, and 2) I have no work. :Sadface:

But I decided to screw it and start a blog, because I've been too much of a homebody and actively avoiding social media, which is just foolish and not helping the struggling writer in me. While I'm not going to go wild writing on my personal facebook and/or twitter, instagram and tumblr, I thought I'd challenge myself on my dedication to writing. So here I am, this is my first real blog post, and I'm challenging myself to write something everyday. Go me! Write on, me!

This is the 31st July 2017, and I'm hoping to start my writing spree today. This post does not count in my numbers! (Those of you who are familiar with NaNoWriMo, this is exactly like that, except not within the Camp or November months, so I'm just doing it on my own, without a deadline.)

I shall be writing stories, I shall be writing articles, and I shall write whatever comes to mind whenever. Ganbatte!

Don't be lazy, me!

Okay, okay, it's already 4:16PM and I've been idling my time instead of writing something. No, no, get up! It's obviously going to be a gigantic, horrendous flop if I'm already flaking out on the first day!!! So yes, even if I'm going to write like a stupid little note to myself in public to scold the crap out of me, I'm going to write it! Self-Introduction

I wish there was a proper format for writing a blog post, but there’s none. How frustrating, but no, no I take it back. It’s actually awesome, because there are hundreds and thousands of different writing styles out there and all of them work! That’s an amazing thing and something of an encouragement, because my style right now is just no-brain-to-mouth-filter style. Will it work? I suppose that’s how I learn. But I won’t learn if I don’t write, right? So yes, this is another pointed reminder to myself to actually put in the effort and write. (Please do excuse the Lasseiz Faire manner in which I’m writing. I’m not entirely certain how to write a public yet personal post. Yet!)
